Gunfight at the Not-So-Ok Saloon! *Pick of the Fringe!!!*
Another new musical? Don't mind if I do! This this around I'm in Gunfight at the Not-So-Ok Saloon, and let me tell you, it is much more than just "Ok." This Gilbert & Sullivan-style operetta is written by the hilarious and incredibly talented Brooke deRosa, and I could not be more thrilled to be portraying the dumb as a bag of rocks prostitute with a heart of silver (at best), Lucille! We opened at the McCadden Place Theater this Saturday as a part of the 2019 Hollywood Fringe Festival to rave reviews, and in fact, we were chosen as a Pick of the Fringe, meaning we are considered to be one of the best shows in the festival so far. If the idea of watching the lovechild of Pirates of Penzance and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas sounds right up your alley, click below! We are sold out this upcoming weekend, but we have three performances after that through the month of June. It is rated PG-13 though, so maybe leave the kiddies at home for this one. See you at the Saloon!
